Every send gives a little.
You pick the cause.

Snag is open-source infrastructure that routes 1% of every opt-in ETH or BTC send to a charity wallet the sender chooses. No separate donation step. No platform cut.

How it works

The send is the donation. Giving happens inside payments people already make.

Opt in on send

You choose to route a payment through Snag — nothing is ever taken from a wallet that doesn't choose it. Strictly opt-in, fully non-custodial.

Pick a cause

Choose one of 8 specific cause wallets — diapers, utility bills, groceries, school supplies, medical relief, shelter, clean water, disaster relief.

1% routes automatically

ETH splits in the SnagRouter contract (99/1); BTC adds a charity output your own wallet signs. Fee is capped at 10% in-contract, set to 1%.

Verified on-chain

Every snag is a normal on-chain transfer to a public wallet — 100% of the 1% reaches the cause, auditable by anyone, forever.

8 specific causes, not a black box

Specificity moves people to give. Each cause has its own public ETH + BTC wallet.

🛒

🚨

Emergency Disaster Relief

Rapid response for fires, floods, and storms.

Why not the alternatives?

Existing options all make giving harder than it needs to be.

CHARITY TOKENS

Giving hostage to speculation

Force you to buy and hold their proprietary coin before you can give. If the token dies, so does the giving. Snag works on the ETH and BTC you already hold.

DONATION PLATFORMS

A second chore + a ~2.5% cut

Separate apps, second payments, platform fees. They're built for nonprofits receiving funds — not for embedding giving into payments people already make.

SNAG

The send IS the donation

No new token. No separate step. No platform cut — 100% of the 1% reaches the cause wallet. Opt-in, non-custodial, verifiable on-chain.

Questions

Is this live? Can I snag right now?

Not yet on mainnet. Contracts are written, open sourced (MIT), and public on GitHub, and the routers are live on the Sepolia testnet, where an end to end test snag already confirmed the 99/1 split. The audit is the gating item before mainnet. The interactive demo shows exactly how it will feel.

How does the ETH side work?

Send through the SnagRouterMulti contract with a charityId. The contract splits msg.value: 99% to your destination, 1% to the cause wallet you picked. Fee math is capped at 10% in-contract and currently set to 1%.

How does the BTC side work?

No contract needed — Snag's tooling builds a transaction with an extra charity output that your own wallet signs. Your keys never leave your wallet.

Who runs the charity wallets?

They're single-purpose addresses with keys held offline by the project creator, Divine, until named charity partners take custody. Every wallet and balance is public.

Who built this?

Snag was created by Divine (@DivineDavy), an independent builder. Code, whitepaper, and docs are public and MIT-licensed.

Where things stand

  • ✓ Built: two Solidity routers, Bitcoin PSBT tooling, interactive demo, whitepaper
  • ✓ Open: all code public and MIT-licensed on GitHub
  • ✓ Launched: public announcement on Reddit (r/ethereum) and X — October 2026
  • ✓ Fund the build: Snag is live on Giveth — donations go to the security audit + mainnet launch
  • ✓ Testnet: routers live on Sepolia — first end to end snag verified on chain Oct 17
  • ○ Next: third-party security audit (quote requested), then mainnet
  • ○ Then: named charity partners, wallet-integration SDK, public transparency dashboard
